MySQL Enterprise
On March 12, 2008, representatives from top corporations and resellers in the Philippines gathered at the Edsa Shangri-la as Touch Solutions Inc. (TSI) announced that it has become a MySQL Enterprise distributor. TSI has just recently signed on to become both an authorized MySQL Enterprise distributor and an Authorized MySQL Education Center.
To be able to give everyone a better idea of what MySQL Enterprise can offer, Larry Stefonic, Senior Vice President for the Asia Pacific Region and President of MySQL K.K. and Daniel Saito, Regional Account Manager of the Asia Pacific Region, talked about what MySQL Enterprise is all about and the MySQL platform for the web economy. The audience was given a demonstration of how MySQL can better help enterprise with their business. The speakers also answered some questions that the audience had regarding MySQL's acquisition by Sun Microsystems.
Before the event ended, many have already expressed their interest in the training program, purchasing the software, and becoming resellers. The future seems optimistic and bright for MySQL Enterpise in the Philippines.
